New Summer...

A new summer of work has begun... please be in prayer for all the preparation being done for the groups coming in throughout summer. We appreciate your faithfullness in keeping up with the work Father is doing this summer. We NEED your prayer!

Prayer Needs for Thursday

Your prayers this week are making a difference! Thank you so much from all of us for your faithfulness in joining us in the battle!

Please pray...

*for the big picnic that we will have for all the teams and their new friends tonight.

*PINK: shared with "K" and they believe he is close to a faith decision, for their new friends "J", "P", "M", and "M", as well as some soccer friends, and their new sister in Christ

*BLUE: for a friend they met yesterday whom they will meet with again today to discuss the scripture they are reading together - they are not sure whether or not he is a believer

*RED: for a girl they read John with who was very confused about the scripture, for a guy they share with who is not a believer, but is warm to spiritual discussion

*GOLD: for a girl named "D" who they shared with

*WHITE: for a new friend that they met from Kenya ("J") who will be reading John so that they can discuss it tomorrow with him

*ORANGE: for "B" that was shared with yesterday, also for a group of guys that was shared with

*YELLOW: for a girl that they shared with.

*BABY BLUE: met a sister in Christ, shared with a guy

*PURPLE: for a Muslim woman they shared with

*MAROON: for more English speaking people in their OTA (Outreach Target Area), and for their friends from earlier in the week to return

*SILVER: for a NEW sister in Christ - they will be reading John with her

*BROWN: more people to come to the park, that their friends will come to the picnic today

*GREEN: for a NEW brother in Christ, "D" and for his friend "K" to come back today

***Praise the Father for the two new believers!***

He is certainly being glorified this week!

Please pray...

*for the same requests as yesterday.

*for students to have the opportunity to disciple others today.

*SILVER: for "M"- she believes in reincarnation, plans to meet again today

*YELLOW: for two guys they plan to meet with tomorrow, for some ladies who want to talk about Father

*WHITE: for some boys they played soccer with, a believer they met yesterday

*GOLD: for two girls the team met that were depressed, and a girl that believed in reincarnation

*BABY BLUE: for some believers they met from Africa, girl from Japan

*PURPLE: for some girls they met, a guy they met who plays with a boomerang, and some girls they plan to meet for lunch

*PINK: for some of their new friends to come back today, for "A" that became a believer yesterday!!!

Prayer Needs for Tuesday

Please pray that...

*the new friends the students made would come back today to meet with them.

*the Father will answer the prayers that students prayed with people they met so that the Father's glory will be made known to them.

*the Father would grow the seeds planted by the students in the hearts of people they shared with.

*Father will provide more divine appointments today for the students to share their stories.

Thank you once again for your faithfulness in prayer!

You are worthy. Sometimes I can't "feel" you, but that's OK because I know You are real. I get frustrated when I feel like You are quiet... but I know You. When I don't hear You I still seek hard after You. You have and are teaching me your priorities. When I don't feel specific directions from You, I do what I know. Thank You that You are not all about chill bumps and emotional experiences. This week, this summer is not about emotional experiences. Worship doesn't have to take place in a huge auditorium with with low lights and a thousand other people... sometimes it's sweating, on hands and knees, picking up trash in a random park in Duisburg. Our relationship is not built on my "mountain-top moments" with you. I love You in the valley because You are the same there. It is so real there. Yesterday was INCREDIBLE and we all felt You. Today was different, but You have not changed. You are still God and that's just the way it is. --LJ

introduction

This is a new idea in the making: a blogspot where we can post specific prayer requests for our teams. By posting these requests, we are enabling loved ones at home to be able to pray specifically with us as we are praying here. We will post prayer requests as frequently as we recieve them, so chekc the main blog to see answers to prayers and praises. We have seen how God can answer specific prayers, and now we are enbaling others to specfically pray with us and for us as we go about our days in Cologne.

Check this site frequently for new posts and prayer requests, and read everyone's postcards to keep up with how amazing God's work really is!
